As I commented on another thread, american-made does not always mean american-sourced ingredients. It also says nothing as to manufacturing or quality control, formulation of the item in question, nor does it speak to farming (meat or plant) practices or ethics. I suppose each person has to decide what matters most to them, but I see more and more advertising and marketing plays to these types of things that are perceived to matter to consumers.
