WOW, all I can say is WOW. When I started reading the post my first reaction was "Are you insane?" But I see everyone feels as I do. ATL I understand that you are not wanting to spend a lot of money initially, but buying from a pet store or puppymill will cost you a lot in the end. You may want to look at rescue, or change to a different breed. This breed is very specific and so true breeders put a lot of time, effort and love into developing their lines. Puppy mills just pop out the dogs without taking into consideration the dogs health or well being. Sorry, I know this isn't what you want to hear, but I can assure you that later on you will be making another post that your dog is not doing well. I've been a dog owner forever and I've seen the difference in good breeding and bad. I've had to console my friends whose dogs have had severe kidney problems, and all sorts of things. Take a deep breath and take your time. I know breeders that have found homes for their "pet only" yorkies at $500.
