Toby (5 lbs, 4 YO) has hiked 9 miles with us before without a problem (Weather was not real hot, it was around 70F probably). He LOVES walks and never quits unless the weather is too hot which slows him down quickly. Usually I am far more tired than him during walks. Usually he comes home and lays down for an hour or so and then wants me to throw his squeaky toy for him to chase
