Good questions.


1. Do you prefer a hood? Not practical for the reason you cite.

2. Must it have a D-Ring attachment on the jacket itself? No. My harnesses go over the coats. A d ring isn't as secure. A hole in coat works but can be a hassle finding the harness underneith.

3. Do you like sleeves? No. Restricts movement, which is what you really need for warmth.

4. Velcro or zipper closure? Velcro.

5. If attached around dog's belly do you prefer full coverage or one strap under the belly? Strap but as wide as comfortably possible. 4-5 inches.
