Default He has had an awful day today

Teddy's specialist phoned last night and said his Pancreas results were a little high, and the urine culture was fine, and his cortisol is down to the low 240's so he is not too concerned about that, he says Teddy will need to go on a vet diet for Gut and Panaceas problems, EITHER: Hills ID low fat diet, or ROYAL CANIN Gastro Intestinal LOW FAT .... I have never been a lover of Vet prescription diets, and when I read the ingredients a lot of it is corn and fillers, BUT I have seen some good reports too from owners,BUT HE WAS SO ILL TODAY: and still is: now vomiting since 4am, we need the vet asap, he may have to go in on a drip we are so so so scared and upset, as he HATES being at the vets, he was in a special vet hospital on Wed night last week, and came home this ill, with the stress kicking off this colitis, and now pancreatitis, we are so worried he won't make it ... vet gave him anti-biotic shot and Zantec, to settle tummy and gave me some meds to coat intestines and tummy, and said if he is sick tomorrow he has to come in again to us, he ISN'T Drinking at all toady, and only had ONE drink yesterday, which he has vomited and lost out his bowels, vet said he is NOT dehydrated, but if he is sick again, he cannot even have 1 teaspoon of food, he had had 8 hours with no vomiting and then just now vomited into his mouth so I can't feed him 1 teaspoon. If he goes in on a drip, there is no one to watch him over night, and he could choke on his vomit or breath it in, it always starts off his collapsed trachea and that can kill him, we are so scared we will loose him soon.
