I just took Sydnee to the groomers for the first time and let them put a flea dip on her, the Vet said it was okay and then he gave me heartguard for her monthly. Just one pill. It protects them from heartworms that they can get from fleas. He also will be giving me something for her monthly, and I can't remember the name of it for outside to protect for fleas. Now I just have a flea collar on her till she is five months old.
