Canned food... We have had a problem with our two. Our Abbie had developed a light urinary infection. We had been feeding the "meat only" expensive $3 to $4 for each tiny can.. After trip to vet, he recommended Royal Canin designed for that problem. It was a kibble. Local place with "meat only" attitude did not sell RC. A new Petsmart opened in town, so we looked there. Max is older and has lost a lot of his teeth. So we decided to try the Royal Canin canned for 8+ and the Beauty.
We also tried the matching kibble of each kind. Our babies were usually very picky and would not eat much for a couple of days on the "meat only" canned and dried.
Well, that has definitely changed since switching to Royal Canin! Now, we even use the kibble bits for treats. They prefer it! And a bonus ~ you will never believe how much $ we save. Instead of the $125.00 plus a month ~ we're down to less than $50. Plus healthier dogs that love to eat and are much shinier. I wish someone had told us about RC before! |
