Maximo: I had read a lot online about vaccinations & was very concerned since he only weighs almost 4lbs. The only vet we have is known for giving the as many combo shots as possible & the same for all dogs. He's had several small Yorkies die after vaccinations. As crazy as it sounds, I just had a bad feeling about them. He got his 1st set & had an allergic reaction to 1 of them, ran a high temp & severe vomiting for 5 days.He couldn't even stand up. He does get a lot of exercising. My boys & husband come home everyday & play chase & other games with him. So I don't have to worry about that. I've never let him walk out in my yard b/c there are my neighbor's dogs around. He hasn't been neutered yet. I think it's a combination of marking his territory, being spoiled, & going fm squating to hiking his leg. He was completely trained then I was gone for 3wks for surgery. I had family stay at my home & they painted & redid the living rm so his pad was moved n there but no where else n the house. He was mad when I got home & would pee & poop everywhere but on the pads. He'll go on the pad a little now & I give him a treat & make a big deal over it. But if I do go out he apparently blames it on my husband & pees on his side of the bed while we are gone! I've thought about buying a "Puppy Apartment" which has mixed reviews. I just know that my house smells like pee & poop. He's ruined our carpet so I've got to do something soon! |
