Thanks for taking her in....I had to go through a similar situation with my
Sassy who is no longer with us...when i rescued her from a breeder that didnt want her anymore she was 6 years old and spent that time in an outdoor kennel run with 3 other females in the same run..She stunk so bad and was matted, skinny and scared to death when i got her. I shaved her down, bathed her and tried to get her to eat but she refused to eat even though she was hungry...so i looked in her mouth and her teeth were so awful....i got her spayed in belton....and then when i moved to lampasas i found a vet there that would work with me i got her teeth taken care of. it cots $222 for a dental,and extracting ten teeth it also included the antibiotics and everything else.... Just call around to all the vets and even see if you can find a vet school in your area...Good luck and I hope everything works out well for you |
