I used to take Lola with me a lot, sometimes I would hide her sometimes not. but I am finding it to be a hassle, first off I have to make sure she is nicely groomed, which LOL contrary to popular belief she not always is. Shopping with Lola takes twice the time, and errands take SOOOOOOO much longer, so many people want to talk to you, ask questions, pet her, take her picture, and then the worst part is they want to tell you about their dog and pull out their phone and show you their pictures, so an hour trip turns into two hours. It's not like I am not friendly, often I like to talk with other pet owners but some days I prefer to get in and out quickly with minimum conversation.
Also Lola does not like to be cooped up and carried around in a bag and hates it when I try to hide her. So lately I find that I am going more places without her but getting home quicker to play with her which she prefers. |
