healthy anal glands don't need expressing, was my point and groomers just do it as part of the service and my vet said that is completely unnecessary and should stop. I asked this advise for my friend who told me her groomer was doing it every visit

Bailey has had good bm's (bowel movements) since he's joined our family Having said that, he was scooting a bit when this all started, so that's why it was suggested, I believe, that he get his anal glands done. The vet said that they weren't bad but he did do it since Bailey was already there.
