healthy anal glands don't need expressing, was my point and groomers just do it as part of the service and my vet said that is completely unnecessary and should stop. I asked this advise for my friend who told me her groomer was doing it every visit
Agree. Tibbe's in the past have only needed expressing usually after being sick or something. If his BM's are normal, he usually does fine with his anals so his vet won't touch them routinely.
