I would run a flea comb through your dog at least once a week even if you have an indoor dog. Fleas can come in on your clothing or other items. One flea can lay thousands of eggs. One flea can create a big problem inside a home.
You won't see fleas on your dog when they first start an infestation. They stay close to the skin and can't be detected. By the time you find one you could already be facing a big problem.
If your dog does not have allergies but has itching keep a look out for the little things. Flea combs can detect and help eliminate them before you have a real problem. |
