OK...that opened me up for a plug for Hills Science Diet. My pups have no coat issues and they are on Hills Ideal Balance. Here are some recent pics of them where you can clearly see they look healthy:

To each his own, but I personally trust Hills Science Diet...they spend money on research and feeding trials and I just feel they are a safer company.
Not saying that other company's foods are bad; just saying that all that stuff about Hills being so bad is just marketing by companies who can only compete by bashing Hills. Lots of people buy their marketing and that's just fine...I just like to share my experience for those who might be interested.
