Yorkies are in the category of dogs who need the most grooming of all.
The microchip does not work as a GPS. I wish it did. The microchip requires scanning by a handheld device and is used for identification purposes only. Vets and most shelters have scanners. It's like a mini ID tag inside your dog. The microchip offers backup identification in case a dog isn't wearing an ID tag.
