Shellie please wait a bit before deciding to re home Cassie. You can not blame yourself for an accident. Life is not fair, terrible things happen to good people, there is no rhyme or reason. We all here can tell from your posts and devotion to Cassie and Muffin you are a WONDERFUL Yorkie Mom and deserve their love and trust. I think re homing would be devastating for Cassie and for you. Give yourself and Cassie a chance to grieve. Muffins life may have been short but it was filled with love because of you. Better a life shorted knowing love, understanding, and caring than a long loveless life. You give your pups quality love and are devoted to specialized caring for their medical needs. I honestly don't think you could find a better home for Cassie. Please pour out your sorrow here on YT and wait before you make any big decisions. We all love you and our hearts go out to you.
