My Teddy has multiple shunts. I'm not sure if its genetic or acquired, from what I have read so far I believe it's not genetic (at least in his case). He is doing great, we got him on a low protein diet, and he's gained weight. I knew about his liver shunt prior to adopting him but I fell in love with this little guy from day one. He is 2 1/2 years old, loving, playful, and gets along with his other fur siblings lol.
