My Max's skin on his back is darker and appears to have an almost bluish tint like his dark saddle hair. I think it has something to do with his hair, kind of like human scalps can appear different colors depending on hair color/type. Teddy has light pink skin everywhere, and he is lighter haired in general.
It is interesting that your baby's belly is turning this color. Is it only in the hairy areas of her underside, or the hairless parts too?
