Well, I'm not a fan of mixes unless your doing a rescue, I just don't believe in supporting breeders who breed mixes. Are you getting an older dog? Since you're gone so much, it might be hard for you to get a puppy and train it, you would have to put it in a x-pen and it would be away for the other dog, what's your plan on this? An older dog might be a better option and you could let them meet in a neutral zone.
