Way to go, Jasper! I know exactly how you feel. Barney was charting to be 8-9 pounds as a puppy. That was part of why we chose him. We wanted a larger size for personal reasons. Around 5 months, he just stopped growing. At 8 months, he had a growth spurt and now at 9 months, he is finally 5 pounds. Like you, I'm not counting on his gaining up to his original projected weight, but it feels like a major victory.
