The first time I used one, I felt like a complete idiot!!

I only use a flexi AFTER they're trained on a regular leash. Otherwise, it's a disaster waiting to happen...because I'm in the uncoordinated club. I have them for the beach. I'm afraid to let them off-leash on the beach & somehow it just doesn't seem fair to keep them on a 6-footer with all that open sand.
