I use both depending on the location, population.. For our daily walks in my neighborhood, I prefer flexi. One of the biggest reason being that there were numerous times where the traditional leash kept getting around their necks from their own leash or from the other. The slight tauntness seem to do the trick for me to avoid that. Mostly b/c they walk in different paces and different preferences to where to sniff..

If we're going somewhere crowded, I use the traditional. Well, on Magnus I would since Zoey would be riding along in the backpack. She doesn't like crowded places..

I switched off to flexi after they have been trained to walk on the traditional leash completely. Either way, I always have the traiditional leash in the "diaper bag" whenever I'm out of the house with the pups so I'd have the option to switch off any time I feel necessary. Even on the daily walks. LOL
