I'm a working mom. And I was when I got Starsky. I took one day off to get him used to home and my beagle Haggis. I kenneled Starsky for a few months to get him potty trained. I came home for lunch for the first 4 months, maybe longer, to let him out to go potty and to play a little. My daughter got home from school around 3:15 in afternoon and she would let him out and play when she could. Then I got home around 5:30 pm. Starsky does great. I think he has a great bladder!! He is now 1 year and I finally got a doggie door!! I haven't let him out during the day just quite yet being the door is only a few days old. I worry about a fox or something that might get him.
