He adjusted very quickly, he truly is a darling!!! Very well behaved! I have a 6 yr old daughter and they dote on each other! He has several fur siblings: four other dogs (rescues exc my border collie), a cat two cavvies a chinchilla and a bunny. All rescues! I have a soft spot for homeless animals, as you can see! Bull is very smart and he is in obedience training. I also socialized him a lot from day one because I am the Head of a school and I want to start a program with him on responsible dog ownership. In fact, he has already come to school with me to a 3 rd form and he showed his skills to the kids!!! It was wonderful and he was a gentleman. I am surprised by his temperament! He is super sociable with dogs and people, I though that being a terrier it wouldn't be so easy. We have also been to the beach together, where he had a blast!!!
I have one only concern: for those of you with big dogs and your yorkie, do you leave them alone together when you leave? Do you allow them to play together? He is so tiny I am scared at times.
Ok, this is too long already! Bye for now! |
He sounds like a little star. Caleb is 6 months old, he plays with our border collie, but only supervised play, as Ishmael is the most clumsy dog we've ever owned. So different to our past border collie and past dogs. I'd not leave them alone together, due to this.
Temperament and size would make the decision for me. 4 dogs with a small pup, could be a problem, if they get excited.
Good luck with your plans, they sound brill.
