Have they done the CPL snap test and other blood work to see if the liver or other pathology is involved? Is she on meds for nausea and diarrhea besides the Metro? My Tibbe had suspected pancreatitis last year but turned out his CPL was normal then and this year after a scintigraphy and abdominal sono after a positive BAT, it really was his liver and he's a probable MVD(microvascular dysplasia) patient, being treated with low protein diet. His symptoms weren't severe enough to do a diagnostic liver biopsy to confirm the MVD but every vet he's seen thinks that's what he's got as he quit being sick and having diarrhea once his diet was changed.
If it is pancreatitis, treats, her diet and whatever she eats such as even an occasional tidbit from the table and things like that will likely have to change/stop. Once in a great while in the past, I would let Tibbe have a bite of pepperoni sausage from a pizza until he got sick. No more! Since last year, all his treats are homemade from his special dog food so he doesn't get sick and he only eats his special diet and is now healthy again.
