 Gut Problem
Hello everyone, I have a 2 year old yorkie (female) who is experiencing gut problems. She has thrown up thrown up blood and has blood in her stool. My vet thinks it is possibly pancreatitis caused by food. As of now my dog is on a bland chicken and rice diet as well as taking 50 mg metronidazole. This is her second bout and she seems to improve on some days but has set backs on other days. If she does not improve the vet recommended doing a scope of her gut. Has anyone else gone through this? Does anyone know if there's a vet that specializes in yorkies in the Denver area? Thanks a lot for the responses. |
