Hi Mela. I am not sure of the outcome here, but I definitely recommend following the information and advice given if your pup is suffering similar spots. Go to Vet first and get a scraping tested. The vet will most likely treat with antibiotics if it is a staph type infection. Sometimes, it can be fungal so you really need a Vet to look it over.
Coconut oil is great in addition to meds but not in place of meds. Many of us use it as a food supplement and rub on skin. It has an antibacterial element to it (or so I've read). I also use it when brushing Mandie's teeth because of that
