There's also a powder that's made for ear hair removal. You sprinkle it in & it absorbs the oil around the hair, which makes it easier to remove. I just make it a habit to do so during bath time. I wouldn't use a shampoo that is used for humans. I was told that it is not the same PH balance & could cause skin irritation on your pets. There are plenty of reasonably priced products. Depending on your budget. There are several threads within YT that can lead you in the right direction. Its really a hit or miss. What works with your yorkie. May not work with another.
