Yes, diamond brand manufactures many different foods including taste of the wild and often times that is a good way for big companies to 'hide' a problem. If you don't realize diamond is tow then one might never bat an eye while the recalls happen. I really like first mate's grain free line. ( I believe) they have never had a recall, they make only their own food in a small processing plantnin bc Canada. It was originally a fish processing factory. They have been around for about thirty years and they have small breed bites at least in chicken and blueberries and their lamb (which they source from nz due to high incidences of scrapes in north America - which is basically mad cow disease for sheep) I also tried and appreciated the ingredients list and kibble size of zignature recently (pea instead of potato) but I didn't do as much company research. Has anyone tried honest kitchen here? Lilah does not appreciate the texture but it is human grade with really good Nutrient concepts. They make great treats like pure dehydrated whitefish and catfish skins and have a really cute pet cookbook I got.
