I have a lot of respect for Kirkland for the most part they only put their name on high quality products. I have seen reviews on their dog food that rate it quite high in the past. Considering the cost savings, I think it is a good choice, especially where you go through a lot of food.
My daughter feeds her big 100# Rhodesian Ridgebacks Kirkland food (I forgot the name, but it's the more expensive one) and they are thriving on it. My pups nibble on it when we visit there, and have not had any adverse effects from it, other than the size of kibble is quite large for lil Yorkie mouths.
I feed my pups Wellness Small Breed, Healthy Weight, for their basic food, since they need so little. |
