At that point he was (I think) 9/10 years old, and my parents thought it a bit too late in life for such an operation. They ensured that he had his ear hair plucked monthly to keep them as clear as possible, and used ear drops as and when necessary.

thanks very much ,i hope that now we have found out whats wrong and are getting her treatment that she will be ok she is alot more settled in herself today thanks goodness as we felt so helpless
