Just got off the phone with the Animal Control Officer again, the pit was ruled a "Dangerous" dog is no longer allowed in the town of Norwood(where I live). But in order to spare his life they are letting the neighbors sister adopt the dog. She lives in NY. They are to pick up the dog today and drive it immediately to NY. The neighbors have been notified if the dog is seen or heard in Norwood it will be euthanized immediately. He instructed me to call him immediately if we suspect he is here, even just for a visit.
I have to admit I am kind of disappointed by this ruling, Yes I will be safe, but what about the people and dogs in NY? Why is it that he is dangerous here, but not dangerous there? Not sure if there is anymore I can do
