I recognize that this thread is old but this is my first post and also did not want to duplicate a post.My Onyx is 13 weeks old and chews EVERYTHING...including people.I have read that you must break this habit or they will think its ok even when they get older. He has a load of chew toys and gets a lot of attention.I try firmly saying STOP to him but most of the time that doesn't work.I have tried ignoring him, putting him back in his playpen etc. I hope he outgrows it~I will continue to be firm with him~I can't even use puppy pads~if he realizes they are there he will chew them and I can't have him getting the plastic in his mouth.I'm still working on the potty training too! I must say this is my first Yorkie though and I love him to pieces!!!! I know he is a baby and I think with consistency he will outgrow the chewing. Thanks for posting all the great advice!
