Some dogs get along perfectly right from the start. Others may require an adjustment period. Max has an independent only-child personality. When we brought Teddy home, they got along very well, but Max did have some jealousy issues. Most of the issues were worked out quickly. The only one that took time was allowing Teddy to sleep in the bed with us.

My boys love the company of each other, but they do not self-entertain. Now I have 2 little faces always looking to me.

It really comes down to the individual dogs.
