well last week or so I posted about lil bear and what I guess was leather ear. Well Sat I went to a new dr. which we will be transfering to. She was stumped. Did blood work and urine test. She called last night. She said that all the liver emzymes were normal except for one. It is called GDTP (anyone heard of this?) The dr suggested putting lil bear on an antioxident supplement for a few months and then test the levels again. Her thyroid was normal(which leather ear is sometime an indication of thyroid problems). I dropped of her urine yesterday so we should have results of that tonight or tomorrow. She did show a little dehydrated but nothing major. Might have to sneak a little gatorade into her water.

So we are suppose to go back in 3 weeks and have a recheck, she gave us a cream antimax(sp) to put on her ears twice a day, She said if it doesn't look better she might want to start lil bear on steroids (which I really don't want to see happen) and might get us an appt. with the doggie demotologist(sp).

So if anyone has any input on the GDTP level or on steroids in yorkies let me know.
