Whew, okay. So I guess I was just being neurotic! She obviously did something to it yesterday but by the time we got to the vet today she didn't have a trace of anything going on. I sure hope it is not a precursor to something more serious though.I was reading Lilly dogs post about a hurt paw and I guess I was especially freaked out because I didn't see any debri in my girls Paw or a cut or- anything! I guess she could have bruised her paw. Makes me think of peanuts owner posting back wishing he would wear shoes. Perhaps I should consider shoes for miss lilah. I think I made a really good choice with her breeder. She was very responsible and thorough with a well documented history of her lineage and recent show history in her lines but things can still show up that are more recessive even if a responsible person has been intentionally breedingbout common poor traits within the breed. So far lilah has been a gem and really been an excellent specimen of the breed from her bold personality to her quick little mind. I actually had planned to show lilah, I still would like to pursue that path but I have been surprisingly caught by the well known but perhaps disbelieved trap of her amazing charm and instead of diligent show prep it is cuddles, squeaky toys and treats, lol. Yes she knows how to work it! Thank you ladies for your concern, it was nice to have a community to reference while I poured through books scaring myself about detrimental disorders. Hugs to all
