Hi and welcome to YT. Buster came from a poor breeding program so he has arthritis in his front wrists diagnosed by a Orthopedic specialist when he was about your baby's age. They were concerned that it they were malformed because he also has LP in his back legs, but decided it was arthritis. I try to keep him from jumping up/down off of furniture, stairs, the porch as much as I can. The Ortho Vet said jumping down causes more issues for the front and jumping up for the back. You might want to look into joint supplements to help. On a lighter note Lilah may have just injured herself slightly and only needs to rest the leg. I would recommend having a Vet look at her if she persist in lifting her paw or not weight bearing on it as that is a sign of pain. Surgery is not cheap so you may want to look into getting pet insurance before the condition is diagnosed because once it is diagnosed it is a preexisting condition and will not be covered. Best wishes I hope it was only a slight sprain and rest is all she needs.
