I also want to mention that it does not take long for a coat to become a tangled mess. PLEASE do try to find his owner; they're tips in the YT library (if someone doesn't post them I'll do it when I get home.)
As for the shying away when you go to pick him up, my Tuffy does that & he's never been abused. |
Mine shies away, too, even though I have had him from 7.5 weeks, and although he gets a bath every week, his face is crusty by the end of day one (sometimes within the hour). I would definitely look for an owner as he might have been a door dasher and got lost or something, but if no owner is found, I'm glad he found you!!! Good luck and post updates!
