I fold the bodice in half (line it up perfectly) than iron down the center. Than fold the skirt in half and pin the center to the center of the bodice where the iron mark is.

I make my skirts with pointed tips but sometime I will angle each side so that it is at a half moon shape or just an inch shorter than the center.
