Jess did the same thing when she was confined due to a broken leg. Would walk around the bowl pushing her nose to the ground and up and over it. I was ready to get a doggie pysch done on her because I thought she was developing ocd from being confined!
As fast as it started it stopped. hasn't done it in months..
she also went through a period where she wouldnt drink water from a bowl, I had to hide it in her food. I think it was a control thing..now she would drink out of a toilet if she could reach it..
