Both Molly and Maggie do this with their kong treats and bully sticks. I have found treats in the folds of the sofa and in the seat of recliners (where the back and seat meet). It is too funny to see! Molly didn't do it till she was about 7 months old but Maggie is already doing it an she's only 14.5 weeks old. They are was too smart sometimes.
