We have been using 'bell method' to potty train our four month old puppy, Simba for two month now. Now, he would sit by the door or ring the bell to signal us he needs to go and sometimes if we didn't see him right away, he would also wait.
Accidents still happens, when he's excited, too lazy to go
, or out of bathe. The number of accidents is till manageable.
He usually leave one pee on the pee pad in his crate during the day ( 9am to 5pm). He sleeps a lot during the day also. Once we get home, he would ask for potty outside very often (every 15 min sometimes). I know sometimes he just wants to go outside and play or mark... We feed him in the morning and around 6 pm now, and he has water all day. Eventually, I would hope we only need to take him out after we get home (5:30 ish), after dinner (7:30 ish) and before bed (10:30 ish). When and how does the transaction happen for puppies go from potty training stage to potty trained?
