My guys eat Canine Caviar kibble in the am. Momo is the only one that gets it moistened bc he doesn't chew anymore. They get premade raw for dinner. This works well for us...for now. I would like to feed them premade raw for both their meals, but I want to see what their next check up will be like, then I'll decide then if I want to feed it for both meals. So far very good, firm small poopies. It has helped Princess & Momo tremendously, they have allergies & yeast, was so miserably itchy & licked their paws all the time. I've seen 90-95% improvement.
The best part, it was w/no meds, sprays, rx shampoos, things we've all tried in the past w/no real help.
It was kinda tricky finding which protein & Brand works well w/ea individual dog, for me. Turbo is intolerant of beef, so he can't have beef. He's also intolerant of pumpkin (makes him vomit), so he couldn't have any primal formulas bc it has pumpkin seeds in it except venison. So he primarily eats OC Raw Dog. Princess & Turbo was allergic to chicken or something in Nature's Variety premade raw, it gave them soft-runny poopies. I thought they couldn't tolerate the higher fat or possibly even the higher protein in raw or some other ingredient in their formulas. But then we tried OC Raw Dog & Primal rabbit & their poopies were nice & firm! So it's trial & error (for us), GL w/whatever you choose.
