Personally, I love those little puppy puffball faces
It's really not that bad. I don't use product on any of my pup's faces just because I'm concerned it will be uncomfortable for them. I'm also afraid they might get it in their eyes when they're rolling around playing. The only issue I have with my puppy, is the hair on top of her head. I keep that in a topknot. Otherwise, she won't be able to see. Some people shave the inner part of the eye...where it meets with the bridge of the nose...to keep the hair out of the eyes. If you search "Yorkie face grooming" on YouTube, you'll probably find a video of how it's done.
