Thanks everyone for your responses! Chloe is thin but is 9" in length so the XXS from Outward bound is only 6" and the XS fit her length but I had to really tighten the straps around her girth. I figured that since the XXS was too short the XS might be safer but ended up her elbows were getting stuck since the wrap around part was also long. Plus the neck piece that I thought was a good idea to help keep her head up wasn't really very effective. Hard to explain! It probably has a lot to do with fit too. It took me a while to figure it out since I couldn't see what was happening under water. =(
I'll check out the ruffwear and ezydog and stay away from the velcro since we keep her hair long. I don't really want to weigh her down even more with a shirt to keep her hair in since.. well, i hate swimming with a shirt. haha. Thanks all! |
