I tried some good brands and finally stayed with the "Wellness Brand for Small Breeds" in a dry food. I always do a "mixture" of the canned Wellness meats & the dry Wellness kibble. I always get several of the different Wellness canned meats (turkey, chicken, lamb, whitefish, and venison) and I always get 2 cans of their canned Puppy food, too, because that has such a great blend of veggies & fruit with the meats!! I read somewhere that it is really healthy to feed the dog a mixture of canned & dry foods.
