[Do you use the trimmers to trim the edge of the ears? Isn't that dangerous? The ear can get caught & the trimmers can cause serious damage to the ears. I leaned in grooming school to trim only the flat flaps of the ears, both inside & out w/clippers & scissors for the edge of the ears. I use 5" ear nose blunt tipped scissors to trim the edge of the ears.]QUOTE

Yes, I do. I go up the edges-with the growth of the hair. I don't think the ears would ever get caught, but especially not the way I do it-I don't "push" the shaver against the ear when I do the edges. The shaver I use is a trimmer.
