My aunt has had 3 westies.
I don't remember the first, but the other 2 are very different and they're mother and daughter.
The mother was more outwardly loving, she loved to play with toys and other dogs and was a great mom. She would have gotten along with any dog. She died a few years ago.
The daughter was born an old woman and you'd swear she was abused. She's loving in her own way but very reserved, and she doesn't play. Lola's puppy energy annoys her, she can take small bouts of it and then she goes away. She would probably get used to it over time, but she wouldn't be happy about it.
Basically I agree with everyone else, they can get along, but it depends on the dogs. |
