My 6 month old puppy Gryffin just swallowed a Reese's peanut butter cup wrapper whole. He was being watched but my niece dropped a wrapper and he was so fast I couldn't get to him in time. By the time I grabbed him he had swallowed it. The whole incident probably happened within 5 seconds of the wrapper being dropped. I called the emergency vet, and they said to watch him, and if he starts to throw up or has not passed it in a few days to come in. I am so worried though. I am scared to sleep cause I am afraid I will miss him throwing up. I am just so worried I can't think of anything else. I have never had a dog swallow something like that before.

Has anyone had a dog swallow something similar? Did it pass or did it become an obstruction?
