This is funny because I have a yorkie mix (who was supposed to be yorkiepoo but I believe is snorkie) and I have a full bred yorkie and my mix actually acts more like and fits more of the description of yorkies. My full bred is way more energetic and was harder to train than any other dog I've known. Different dogs just have different personalities. I wouldn't take that as a sign she is not a yorkie. Do not feel bad about the crate, a lot of dogs learn to actually like it, you can put a soft bed, some special toys and maybe hide a treat or 2 in there. Even 2 dogs from the same litter can be completely different, a lot of it is the training and love you give her now while she is still learning that will help determine what kind of dog she will be when she's older. I know a lot of great schnauzers!
Here is a picture of my probable snorkie as a baby and a more recent.
